Residents are invited to the first Charnwood Community Health and Wellbeing event on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.
The free event is being held at the Charnwood Borough Council offices in Southfield Road, Loughborough, between 2pm and 6pm.
It will bring together a range of organisations offering advice, information and support in one place.
Visitors will be able to access support on topics including health checks, vaccinations, dementia, mental health, menopause and healthy living. Advice on employment and money will also be available, while activities in nearby Southfields Park will encourage people to get active.
The Charnwood Community Health and Wellbeing event is being organised by the Council, supported by the Charnwood Health and Wellbeing Partnership and Charnwood GP Federation, More Leisure, and the NHS.
Cllr Liz Blackshaw, the Council’s Lead Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, said: “Good health and wellbeing are important to everyone, and I would encourage residents to come along and find out what support is available.
“With a wide range of organisations attending, the event offers a great opportunity to speak directly to experts, ask questions and access advice that could benefit you, your family or your friends.”
