Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has said that Tehran will respond “with firmness” following a strike on a residential home in Sirik County that Iranian officials said was hosting a wedding ceremony.
Writing on X, Baqaei stated that more than 50 men, women, and children were killed or injured, describing the strike as part of a wider wave of attacks across Minab, Lamerd, Qeshm, and other areas.
He said the US’ history of alleged actions against “the nation of Iran is now complete.”
Baqaei condemned foreign governments and international institutions that have remained silent or sought to justify the military action.
“Their silence is not neutrality,” he said, warning that those who remain silent “will not be immune to its consequences tomorrow.”
