The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has announced individual award winners for the 2025/2026 season.
FC Robo Queens star, Adegbuyi Oluwakemi was named NWFL player of the season following her impressive performances throughout the campaign.
The midfielder was rewarded for her consistency and influence on the pitch.
Abia Angels and Super Falcons goalkeeper, Fatima Oloko claimed the golden glove award.
Oloko’s outstanding displays between the sticks were instrumental in Abia Angels’ respectable finish in the season.
Rivers Angels received the Fair Play Award in recognition of their exemplary conduct and sportsmanship both on and off the field throughout the campaign.
The awards capped off another exciting NWFL season celebrating players and teams that distinguished themselves through exceptional performances and professionalism.
Edo Queens were crowned the 2025-26 NWFL champions after finishing top at the Super Six playoff tournament in Port-Harcourt.
The Benin-based side will compete in the WAFU B Women’s champions league next season.
