2027 Polls: PRP’s Donald Duke Says Fuel Subsidy Removal “Poorly Managed”

Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, Donald Duke has lent his voice to the current debate on fuel subsidy saying the “poorly managed fuel subsidy and economic policies” must stop.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday, the former Cross River State Governor called for the review of what he described as “key anti-people policies.”

According to him, the fuel subsidy scam which preceded the President Bola Tinubu administration has been replaced by the poorly-managed option which makes money for government, but impoverish citizens and the economy.

He said the country must move beyond debates and adopt well-informed and strategically-designed options to the current economic policies to address growth and alleviate poverty.
