The ‘Borgo Dialogues’, a new international forum for dialogue on care for our common home, are set to be inaugurated in the papal gardens of Castel Gandolfo.
From June 17 to 19, 2026, the Borgo Laudato Si’, or ‘Laudato Sì village’, will host the inaugural edition of the Borgo Laudato Si’ Dialogues.
The event has been organised in collaboration with the Laudato Si’ Higher Education Center, the University of Notre Dame, Deloitte Switzerland and Handshake Strategies.
Borgo Laudato Si’ , which is located inside the papal gardens at Castel Gandolfo, is a centre dedicated to formation in integral ecology, environmental sustainability, and the circular economy, and was established to translate the principles of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato si’ into concrete and replicable practices.
In this context, the Borgo Dialogues will bring together corporate leaders and representatives from international organizations, academia, culture, civil society and the Church to engage in dialogue on the major challenges of our time.
The initiative is conceived as a continuing forum for dialogue among those with diverse experiences and perspectives, fostering exchange and the development of shared responses to common challenges.
It is designed to build a community of practice grounded in courageous leadership and inspired by Laudato si’, bringing together leaders at a pivotal moment in our world’s story to address pressing global challenges and drive meaningful action across faith institutions, the academy, civil society and the private sector.
