CAF seeks host nations for AFCON 2028, 2032, 2036

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has invited member associations to submit bids to host the Africa Cup of Nations in 2028, 2032 and 2036, DAILY POST reports.

Africa’s soccer governing body made the announcement on their official website.

The 54 members of CAF are free to submit bids to host the  AFCON 2028, 2032 and 2036 finals.

The AFCON 2027 finals will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June 2027 to 17 July 2027.

Bidding framework, according to CAF, has been developed with the support of its independent expert adviser, PwC, and its technical, financial and external legal advisers.

The AFCON  is the biggest sporting event in Africa, and is also amongst the biggest sporting events in the world.
