Nigerian Govt. Canvasses Foreign Investment As Economy Improves

Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has asked local and foreign investors to take advantage of the country’s improved economic outlook to invest in Delta state.

The Vice president was speaking at the opening ceremony of the Delta state Economic and Investment Summit 2026, on Monday in Asaba.

“Harnessing Our Strengths, Unlocking Our Potentials, is the theme for this Economic and Investment Summit.

The host of the event, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori expressed optimism that the summit would accelerate industrialization of the state.

Shettima and other distinguished speakers, commended the Delta state government for the summit , describing it as a move that would attract both local and foreign investors into critical sectors of the economy.
