Celtic are reportedly close to signing PSV Eindhoven’s Joel van den Berg, but they and Rangers appear to have missed out on other targets as Dundee United consider another bid for Falkirk’s Brad Spencer.

A Celtic delegation is in the Netherlands to discuss the acquisition of midfielder Joel van den Berg, with the 19-year-old open to a transfer having yet to become a first-team regular with PSV Eindoven. (VI, external)
