A Russian attack on the outskirts of Kharkiv in Ukraine’s north-east has killed three people, the regional governor said on Telegram.
Emergency services rescued and evacuated eight people, some of whom were injured, Oleh Syniehubov said, adding that search operations were ongoing.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities and businesses reported significant damage from overnight drone strikes across southern regions.
In Krasnodar, drone debris struck a private childcare centre overnight, killing two children and injuring nine others, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
Debris also fell on apartment buildings and warehouse facilities in the city, with Russian online retail giant Ozon confirming that its Krasnodar logistics hub was hit by drones and caught fire.
Additionally, Governor Vladimir Vladimirov stated that Russian air defences engaged drones over an industrial chemical manufacturing zone in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai.
