Bringing the words of the Popes to the world
“The Vatican Publishing House works to bring the words of the Popes to readers internationally,” says Lorenzo Fazzini, Editorial Director of the Vatican Publishing House. “This year, we oversaw the publication and distribution of writings by Robert F. Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, from his time as Prior General of the Augustinians, in the book Free Under Grace, which has already been published in several languages. We are truly pleased that we will soon be able to make these personal pages by Pope Francis available to readers in Italy and, through various publishers, around the world, in a book written by one of his closest collaborators, Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández.”
The Vatican Publishing House will present the book to international publishers at the forthcoming Frankfurt Book Fair, which takes place from 7 to 11 October 2026.
