Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl Gets Bigger: Upendra Joins Shanaya Kapoor, Teja Sajja
The makers of Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl have announced Kannada superstar Upendra as the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming zombie action-comedy sequel.
Upendra Joins Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl Cast
The announcement, made on Teja Sajja’s birthday, also confirmed Shanaya Kapoor as part of the cast. The film will mark Shanaya’s South Indian cinema debut, while Teja Sajja returns as the franchise’s zombie-slaying protagonist.
According to Variety, the sequel will expand the world established in the 2021 film Zombie Reddy.

Suparn S. Varma To Direct Sequel
Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl will be directed by Suparn S. Varma, whose previous work includes The Family Man Season 2, Rana Naidu and Haq.
Prasanth Varma, who directed the original Zombie Reddy, has created the story for the sequel. Hussain Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Suparn S. Varma have jointly written the screenplay.
Gowra Hari, known for his work on HanuMan and Mirai, will compose the music.
The original film followed a game developer who finds himself fighting to save his village after a scientist’s vaccine experiment triggers a zombie outbreak.
Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl To Release In Seven Languages
The sequel is being produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. The film is planned for release in seven languages – Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali and Japanese.
According to producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad, the film is being developed as a large-scale adventure for audiences beyond India, with the release planned across India and Japan.
Suparn S. Varma has also described the project as an attempt to expand the zombie concept into a much larger world. The film is expected to arrive in 2027, with the makers promising a bigger scale and a more ambitious zombie-driven spectacle.
