The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has notified all FCT commuters that the newly constructed bus terminal in Mabushi, under the Management of Planet Project Ltd, has commenced operations. Consequently, the FCT Administration has approved the relocation of various surrounding temporary motor parks at Utako and Banex areas to the Mabushi bus terminal.
Formal quit notices have been issued by the Administration to affected parks.
According to the public announcement, the deadline for the completion of these movements has been set for Wednesday, 24 June 2026, after which the government will recover the affected parks and spaces for other overriding public purposes.
The FCT Administration appealed for the cooperation of all concerned it works harder for a more organised urban transportation system and a better liveable capital city. Here is full text of the public announcement:

HERE IS AN IMPORTANT PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The FCT Administration informs all FCT commuters that the newly constructed bus terminal in Mabushi, under the Management of Planet Project Ltd, has commenced operations.
