Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, suffered defeat in his celebrity boxing rematch against actor Charles Okocha after abandoning the bout during the opening round.
The highly anticipated “Chaos In The Ring” showdown, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, ended in dramatic fashion when Portable walked out of the contest, prompting officials to declare Okocha the winner.
The rematch was organised following their first celebrity boxing encounter in 2023, which Portable won.
Okocha had challenged the result and activated a rematch clause, setting the stage for Friday’s clash.
The fight started at a frenetic pace before descending into confusion, with Portable exiting the ring and refusing to continue. Following his withdrawal, organisers awarded victory to Okocha.
Videos from the event have since gone viral on social media, sparking reactions from fans and entertainment enthusiasts.
While Portable is yet to give a detailed explanation for his decision, the outcome handed Okocha revenge after losing their first meeting nearly three years ago.
