2026 Arnold Palmer Cup: Teams, format, venue and how to watch
The 30th Arnold Palmer Cup will take place Friday-Sunday at Tralee Golf Links in County Kerry, Ireland.
Here is everything you need to know about the annual collegiate team match-play competition:
What is the format?
There is a total of 60 matches played over four sessions and three days:
- Friday – 12 mixed four-balls
- Saturday – 12 foursomes and 12 mixed foursomes
- Sunday – 24 singles
Who leads the all-time series?
In 29 previous Palmer Cups, the U.S. has won 15 of them and holds a 15-13-1 record. The Internationals, however, have won four of the last seven since the competition was expanded to include International and female competitors.
How can I watch?
All three competition days will be streamed live on the Golf Channel mobile app and website (all times ET; stream links added when available):
- Friday: 7-11 a.m.
- Saturday: Session 1, 5-8 a.m.; Session 2, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 5-9 a.m. ET
Who’s playing?
Each side, the U.S. and International, consists of 24 competitors, including 12 men and 12 women. The teams are split between 12 automatic selections and 12 committee or captain’s picks. At least one male and one female on each team must come from a non-Division I team or international university.
