Pope Leo to celebrate Feast of Assumption in Castel Gandolfo
The Pope will return to the town of Castel Gandolfo, where he will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish and pray the Angelus, as he did last year.

Pope Leo XIV will return to the papal residence at Castel Gandolfo on the evening of August 12 and remain there until Tuesday, August 18.

On Saturday August 15, the Pope will preside over Holy Mass at 10 a.m. for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Pontifical Parish of St. Thomas of Villanova in Castel Gandolfo, as he did last year.
The Pope will also pray the Angelus on August 15 and 16 from Castel Gandolfo (@VATICAN MEDIA)
After the celebration, he will pray the Angelus there.
